Fairy Tale Yarn Co Wholesale Information

Fairy Tale Yarn Co is the perfect yarn for those that want to add a whimsical, playful feel to their projects.  All colors are indie dyed in small batches.  I’m excited to offer these to retailers and look forward to working with you.

We are excited to offer collection bundles!  You can choose from 3 bundle levels, Squire, Knight, and Wizard.  See our collection bundles below.

Fellowship Collection

  • Minimum orders are $500 for the first order and $300 for each additional order. 
  • Yarn base minimum is 5. 
  • Custom colorways must be ordered in sets of 10.
  • All Branding must remain intact, including but not limited to ball bands, base names and colorway names.
  • Fairy Tale Knits is not responsible for shipping delays and refunds will not be issued for delays due to delays from the shipping company.
  • Tie dye and speckle dyed colorways are available for wholesale. 
  • I’m happy create custom colorways for your store.  These will be exclusive to your shop for as long as you are ordering them every 6 months.
  • You can see colorway examples on this page. All of these are available for wholesale.  Please Note, different bases take dye differently and the nature of indie dyeing means there will be some variation from one batch to another.  My dye lots can be up to 15 hanks.
    • The name of the colorway is under the picture.

  • Generally, lead time will be 4-6 weeks. During spring and fall show season this time may be longer.
  • After you order, I will contact you if my lead time is more than 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Invoices will be sent when order is confirmed.
  • Payments are due in full when invoice is sent.

Fairy Tale Yarn Co Trunk Show Information

A trunk show is a perfect way for us both the test the waters.  It gives your customers a peak at my yarn and let’s you know which colorways they like best.

  • Splits are based on my retail price. Payment for yarn must be made by check and shipped with the yarn within 4 days of show ending.
  • Trunk shows split is 60/40 (60% to Fairy Tale Knits/ 40% to the shop).  If the sales from the show reach $2,500 the split is reduced to wholesale rate (50/50). 
  • If shop choose to purchase the entire show, the rate will be 50/50.
  • Shipped trunk shows require a credit card to be on file. Please click to save card when paying for shipping.
  • Shop agrees to pay for all shipping.
  • In person shows that require over 2 hours of travel time, shop agrees to pay for lodging, travel, and food expense, unless contracted to teach 2 or more classes or wholesale order is placed.
  • All Branding must remain intact, including but not limited to ball bands, base names and colorway names.
  • No stickers (pricing or other) may be added to ball bands. Shops agree to pay $2 per band that must be replaced.
  • Yarn must be in original condition.
  • Yarn shops are responsible for any damages. Any yarn damaged will be purchased by the yarn shop at the full retail price.
  • Yarn must not be cut, used, soiled, and must be free from any odors.
  • I am happy to provide signs you can print that I use for pricing in my booths.

Fairy Tale Yarn Co Exclusive Yarn Club

A Fairy Tale Knits club is a fun way to have a different exclusive club in your shop each month.  I will work with you to choose the theme and inspiration for each 3-month term.

  • Each Club is Exclusive to the shop it is dyed for.
  • I will work with you to come up with a theme that works for both of us.
  • Clubs are available in 6-month terms. At the beginning of each term each inspiration photo will be chosen.
  • Each month has a minimum order of 10 hanks of yarn.
  • Yarn base is up to the shop and will be chosen at the beginning of each term.
  • The cost will depend on the yarn chosen but will be at wholesale rate of 50% of retail.
  • Clubs will come with extras; the extras will be chosen by Fairy Tale Yarn Co and the shop together and will be sold to customer that way.
  • All Branding must remain intact, including but not limited to ball bands, base names and colorway names.
