Don’t be a coward, like the sheriff, with this colorway.
This yarn is dyed on my Harpy Feathers base. No matter the storm, this yarn will see you though.
This colorway is tie-dyed. This means the colors are applied in layers, with different parts of the yarn restricted in each layer so it doesn’t absorb the dye. The color repeats in tie-dyeing are short and more random and will vary throughout the hank of yarn and within the same dye lot. What this means for your projects is there are more colors because of the overlapping as the dye is applied and they are less likely to pool.

Don’t just toss this yarn into the washing machine like a discarded piece of laundry – you might risk losing it forever. I recommend for this base that you hand wash the yarn itself or any finished items using a gentle detergent or wool wash. Then lay flat to dry, or pin it into shape to block. Take good care of it and this yarn will stand by you through thick and thin!
